Cool Stuff: What a Day’s Worth of Air Traffic Looks Like

On any given day about 2,500 flights cross the North Atlantic. From the ocean’s surface, it looks pretty quiet up there, but at 30,000 feet, it’s a different story. The folks at NATS (Britain’s air traffic control system) put together a visualization of all that traffic, and it looks amazing.
